The LIBBE Colon Hydrotherapy System is an open system. The client lies on a table that looks similar to a recliner. The form-fitted table has a basin feature with a small, disposable rectal tube, about the size of a pencil, attached at one end. After instruction by our I-ACT Certified therapist on how to gently insert the tube, the therapist leaves the room, providing total privacy for the client. The therapist returns when the client is ready to begin. A gentle, continuous flow of gravity-fed warm filtered water flows through the rectal tube and into the colon. When the client feels full, they simply relax and let the waste release. ‘The rectal tube automatically moves to one side within the rectum allowing the softened matter to flow out. The waste then flows down a drain in the bottom of the basin passing through a clear viewing tube. An odor exhaust system ensures the room remains odor free at all times. The therapist remains in the room and provides instruction during the session but private time can be provided. This type of system is very gentle. The open system is generally regarded as more comfortable and private than the closed system.
